The STR Visa requires substantially more documentation than other visa types. It is organised into five categories below — open each one to see what’s required.
Original passport, signed and with at least six months remaining validity
Three visa application forms filled completely ×3
Visa Payment Slip (obtained after the online application (portal.immigration.gov.ng) is complete) x3. ×3
Three recent photograph (no laser copies), passport size ×3
Bank account statement for the last 6 months x3 ×3
Proof of travel: photocopy of round trip air ticket or travel itinerary
A letter of invitation from a host (with full address) accepting ‘immigration responsibility’ x3 ×3
Copy of Company Registration (Certificate of Incorporation) of the Company you are visiting. x3 ×3
Letter of employment x 3 ×3
Letter of acceptance x 3 ×3
Three (3) certified copies of expatriate quota approval from Nigeria or approval from Nigeria for STR (Ministry of Internal Affairs). ×3

Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever (Yellow Health Card)
